The race, in which skiers travel 40 miles and climb over 6,800 feet, started in the 1990’s. This year, instead of skiing from Crested Butte to Aspen, racers went half-way and turned around - called the Grand Reverse - due to risky weather and snow conditions.

The Coeur d’Alene Police and Fire Departments responded to a rolled car on 3rd street and Garden ave. Thursday afternoon. The stolen car, driven by a 12-year-old boy, hit another car that lost a tire and showed damage on its back bumper.
